I unfortunately missed one very important factor before ordering this product. The product label says “sugar free” but be aware that this does contain xylitol as an alternative. Xylitol is a substitute for sugar that is highly toxic (deadly) to dogs. The lethal dose for dogs is quite low - one stick of gum can poison a small dog. Toxicosis occurs very rapidly - minutes, not necessarily hours. I would rather buy a product that has sugar than xylitol so I will not be purchasing this product again. Xylitol containing products have no place in our home. This is really a zero star product to me but not everyone has pets so it’s getting a middle of the road three star rating. Other than xylitol, this appears to be a very good supplement manufacturer - made in the USA, third party tested, etc but that does not matter to me in this case.
