Vitamin D3 K2 USDA Organic Drops - Vitamin D3 10000 IU & K2 as MK-7 120mcg - Immune & Mood Support, Bone & Teeth Health - Sugar-Free Orange Flavor - Liquid Supplement - Made in USA - 2 FL OZ, 60 Days

Unsealed Vitamin D Drops: Packaging Flaw Risks Breakage

When I opened the delivery packaging, I discovered that the box-pictured on the product page that this comes in- was not sealed. How did I discover that? you ask. Because as soon as I opened the shipping package, the bottle fell right out of the box and hit the stone counter and almost broke.

In other words, the box these drops come in-not the shipping- was UNsealed. The makers need to be sure its sealed prior to shipping.

Before I could even open the bottle, I smelled the orange flavor and was afraid that it cracked when the bottle fell out of its box, so I waited to see if it leaked. So far, I don't see any leaks, but I'm leery to try it now.

Vitamin Basics & Tips

Vitamin D plays a vital role in bone health, immune function, and mood regulation. While sunlight is a primary source, supplements like drops are popular for individuals with deficiencies or limited sun exposure. Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is often preferred for its effectiveness in raising blood levels.

Proper storage of Vitamin D supplements is crucial. Exposure to heat, light, or air can degrade potency. Liquid forms, like drops, require airtight seals to prevent oxidation. Always check packaging integrity upon delivery to ensure product safety and efficacy.

Daily intake guidelines vary by age and health status, but most adults require 600–800 IU. Over-supplementation can lead to toxicity, causing nausea or kidney issues. Consult a healthcare provider before starting any regimen, especially if combining with fortified foods or other supplements.
